God of Righteousness,
You know that I want to honor You. I don’t want to jeopardize my character or your reputation for a temporary and dishonest benefit. You know every detail of my situation at work and how I am being asked to compromise on principles. I know that it would be easier to give in to what I am being asked to do, but I don’t want to do things just because they are easier. I want to do what is right.
If I am misjudging what is being asked of me, I ask you to make that clear and obvious to me. I don’t want to falsely accuse anyone of unethical practices. I know You have called me to love righteousness, to be fair and honest in all my dealings, and that is exactly what I need Your help to do.
Help me to be courageous to stand up for what is right. Help me to communicate respectfully and clearly what is unethical. Help me to find solutions to this situation that are redemptive, so that my employer and colleagues know there is a better way of handling this that will be of greater benefit and have a reward in the long run. I ask God that you protect me from anyone who would seek to damage me and my position for taking a stand.
I pray for supernatural favor. Just as you saved Daniel from the lion’s den, I trust that You will save me.
