Dear Savior,
My life and mind are in turmoil. I come to You with a deep sense of need. My heart is filled with confusion, disappointment, bitterness, resentments, and anger. There’s so much that I need right now. I want your peace. Quiet my mind. Calm my raging emotions, and help me to stop thrashing around in the waters of my life. Help me to look to You right now and be gracious and merciful.
As I stop and fix my eyes on You, to think on You and Your goodness and mercy, I can already feel my life beginning to center and calm. Even though the waters and the storms are all around me, I pray that you will give me the faith to rest and sleep—and even walk on the water if You call me to come to You. Thank you that You calm the storms in my life. Thank You for your promis of perfect peace.
