Dear God,
I have drifted from You. I don’t know why I lost my way, but I miss you. I want to come back, God. Please help me. Somewhere along the way, I took my eyes off of Jesus.
I know that nothing is more important in life than my relationship with You. You are the one who turns darkness into light, who forgives my sin and offers me a new life, who welcomes me back with open arms, even after I wandered away and squandered all that You gave me.
I affirm my love for you and come to you humbly. My faith feels weak but I bring You my praise and worship. I ask You to give me a new mind and heart, God.
