Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You today with a sense of weariness and fatigue, both physically and emotionally. I have no energy. There are things that I should get done, but I am just not sure how I can do it all. I don’t feel like I have anything left to offer. I am weary in my soul.
I don’t understand why I can’t find rest, but I lay this need before You and ask that You would act on my behalf and give me the rest I need. Help me to sleep well and give me ways to recharge my emotional batteries, and keep my eyes on You and not be distracted by worries or things that want to rob me of rest.
Thank you for inviting me to bring my burdens to You. Thank you for understanding. I am humbled and grateful that You still accept and embrace me as I am, and that You offer to carry my load with me.
Lord, just knowing that You are close to me right now give rest to my soul. I receive Your gift of rest with faith.
