God of Strength,
I know that a relationship with you is the only thing that really sustains me. I have many days when I feel close to You and I know that You always love me. To be honest, today I am discouraged. I feel as though I have been relying on myself and not on you, God. I get distracted so easily and become self-sufficient, rather than relying on You. I take things for granted and forget to even be thankful—especially to You.
You know the unhealthy dynamics that I have allowed to accumulate in my life, slowing my pace and causing me to stumble. Please give me the resolve and grace to get rid of the habits and attitudes that keep me from fully serving and loving You.
Please God give me strength to keep moving forward in Your strength and according to Your will for my life. Please increase my faith and strength in You.
Thank You, gracious Father, that You have promised to finish the race of life with me and that You will never leave me.
