Dear Heavenly Father,
You know the burden I am carrying right now. I don’t come to complain or feel sorry for myself. I just don’t want to carry this weight anymore. It is too much for me.
Thank you for inviting me to bring my burdens to You. Thank You for letting me be honest about how I feel and my temptation to give up. Thank You for having empathy for me knowing that I am struggling to express faith and hope right now. Thank You for Your promise that You will give me whatever strength I need for the challenges of each day—even if I don’t feel strong right now.
I am humbled and grateful that You still accept and embrace me as I am, and that You offer to carry my load for me. I don’t know how to put this burden in Your hands, but in my heart and spirit I lay the burden down and ask You to take it. I trust You.
Thank You, Lord for being close to me right now. You give me hope.
