All Sufficient God,
You did not create me to live with a spirit of fear and timidity. Your word says that I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. I have every gift that I need to make a difference in Your world, because You have made me. No weapon formed against me—physical, emotional, or spiritual can defeat me. I confess that I often live with a spirit of fear and anxiety, rather than in confident expectation.
If there are events or repeated messages from my past that have blocked me from receiving what You have already given me, I hand all of that to You now and ask that You deliver me from all of that baggage. I pray that through faith you will give me the abundant life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Even if my emotions haven’t caught up with my mind, I claim the confidence that is mind through Jesus right now. I will no longer back down from opportunities to serve and have fellowship. I will not let fear rule my life and when I am tempted to lose my confidence, I will program Your promise that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
